Image
Today our guest is J. I. Rogers from Canada. She writes dystopian science fiction. " The Korpes File " was released earlier this month and is the first book in "The 942 Series". We have conducted an interview with her. How long have you been writing dystopian Science Fiction? I started in this genre five years ago, but, I've been writing one form of fiction or another for over twenty. What inspired you to write "The Korpes File"? It started as a world-building exercise; I was working with a game design group and thought their story needed some depth. What began as a series of conversations and soundbites led to short stories and when the game was put on hiatus, the work I'd put in was released back to me. Several characters transitioned to the books from that experience(yes, " The Korpes File " is part of a series). Who is your favorite character? Unfair question; that's like asking someone to pick their favorite...

Interview with science fiction author William J. Fiorilli

Image
William J. Fiorilli is a newly published Science Fiction author, self published on Amazon . We have conducted an interview with him about his writing and the latest book, Blue Dot Book One . Please share with us more about what inspires you to be a writer? I started to write because I've always loved to read. As a boy, my favorite place to go was the bookstore, and when I'd go to other stores with my parents most kids would ask for toys, but I would want them to buy me another book. The more I'd read about certain stories and characters, the more my mind would wander and want to create my own characters and worlds and situations. Despite writing on an amateur level my whole life, it was only recently that I decided to start self-publishing. I'm glad I waited this long, because I think my writing has matured over the years, and I'm ready to publish now. Which kind of books do you read? What kind of books do you want to write? I've always been draw...

" Greg lives in Pasadena, CA and works as an administrator for the local school district. He is also a musician and producer with a Top-Forty hit and over 20 songs placed on television. His novel is a soliloquy of syntax soaked in science-fiction, yet seasoned with the truth. We have conducted an interview with him. How different is producing top-forty hits versus writing an epic-adventure about time travel? Believe it or not, there are several similarities in these seemingly inharmonious endeavors. As Quincy Jones once stated, "A great song isn't written, it's rewritten." The attention to detail and the willingness to take chances is a talent that deserves recognition. I see you have a music soundtrack that accompanies the novel. How do they work in tandem? Well, first let me say that this book is not about music. Yet, the music is...
