Interview with fine art artist Scott Gieske

Image
"I constantly feel like most humans try to control the uncontrollable. To counter this notion with my art, I began getting input directly from nature. I leverage the natural world to influence and create beautiful images. I do not control the formation, just like we do not really control life. I started sending sheets of paper into the heart of nature, leaving them to the wind, the streams, and the forests. I left them in the natural environment for extended periods of time, letting mother nature imprint upon them what she would. The interplay between color and texture, creates intriguing and indescribable ambiances. The aesthetic production of nature oriented in such a way, proved to be something fascinating, a finesse of refined compositions evoking feelings of harmony, motion and nature itself. For some of the collage pieces, the final step is to take the paper out of the natural environment and bring the image into Photoshop to create the final composition." Scott Gieske...

We have conducted an interview with her about her initiative Art Prodigy LLC . What inspires you to create Abstract Art, especially for the very first piece? Painting Abstract expands the viewing experience and invites questions to be asked. Energy and emotion beckons to be evoked, that's my inspiration. Who are influencers of your art style and artwork? Mark Rothko and Andy Warhol. Rothko because I find his use of colors to be intense and meaningful. Warhol because his work reminds me that creativity is where an open mind can thrive. What kind of painting do you enjoy making and appreciate the most? Ma...

I love a challenge and really enjoy sketching architecture but I guess anything people can look at and say "aww" or "this is great" is a real triumph for me! As for content, anything has the potential to be art. It's all in how you perceive your surroundings haha. Tell us a little more about your support system? I have a crazy support system! When I originally decided to start painting for the LGBTQA+ community everyone supported me and helped me promote! Editor Vishnu Perumal

Image
There are a number of well-known sayings which lend themselves to the idea that the world is eternally balancing itself out: “When one door closes, another opens” or to put it in more scientific terms, Newton’s third law which states, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Speak with anyone involved in the entertainment industry and they will expound on its fulfillment and creative empowerment as well as the challenges it brings. They will also communicate the absence of a “normal” life that it demands. No one knows this better than those who are editors. While much of the production process is collaborative and social, editors are those who weave and bind the stories which are created…doing so in a small solitary room by themselves (with intermittent appearances from the director and producers of said productions). Vishnu Perumal has spent a large portion of his life in this type of surrounding and concedes that while it extracts a certain social content fr...

Limbo - interview with solo artist Socially Altered

Image
Krishnendu Ghosal is an unsigned solo artist from India going under the artist name of Socially Altered . He has self-released a single recently called "Limbo". We have conducted an interview with him. What is your style of music? My primary style of music is rock, and my secondary style is a mix of psychedelic rock, pop rock and alternative. It solely depends on the thought behind a song. I prefer to write songs to tell a story or show a particular emotion. So if the story or emotion behind the song relates to aggression, my style for that song would be more towards alternative rock than psychedelic rock or pop rock. In the same way if a song is about inner thoughts of a person the song would be more towards psychedelic rock. So I would say my style is a mix of a few sub genres of rock. How did you develop this style? Who are your musical influences? I have no formal training in music and I didn't try developing this style. I listen to a lot of mu...
