While we Americans are consumed with the news of the US President and his relationship with different news organizations, UK TV producer Beth Butler possess an inside look at the topic from an outside perspective. As producer of Good Morning Britain’s segment back in 2016 in which Piers Morgan interviewed then presidential candidate Trump, Butler pieced together a series interview segment so popular that it prompted a documentary (also produced by her). GMB’s placement of Butler at the helm of these two productions set a precedent for Britain’s view of the man who would become the most discussed American President in modern times on the world stage. The interview with candidate Trump was recorded in New York at Trump Towers on Friday the 13th May 2016. Butler was placed in charge of the interview due to her track record of success under pressure and this particular interview would make good use of the fact. Tapes of the interview were sent overnight from New York to London for...

Interview with Jackson Novem

Image
We have conducted a short interview with the songwriter and singer  Jackson Novem . What inspires you to produce songs like 'Slaughterhouse' and "Tears of Gold"? Well, after my first album, Trans-Suburban Fantasy, I really wanted to focus on a new sound, something that mixed the genres of rock music,hip-hop, pop in a way that I had never heard before. I wanted to make something fresh, something unique. How do you describe the genre of the songs you've made so far? Well really right now I'm interested in mixing genres. I've always been inspired by rock music; my father used to play the classic rock radio station on long car drives. And I love hip-hop and the beats associated with it. Its very inspiring. Writing is really therapeutic for me in that way. Since when did...

Invincibility in the Face of Prostate Cancer: Coming out the other side

Image
Alfred Samuels is the Author of a book titled "Invincibility in the Face of Prostate Cancer:Coming out the other side." We have conducted a short interview with him. How did you arrive at the title for your book, "Invincibility in the Face of Prostate Cancer: Coming out the other side"?  After writing a draft of my book the title became clear. As I read back through my draft, I realised that I actually thought that Prostate Cancer could not touch my world. Having lived in a world of perceived invincibility as a "Bodyguard to major Celebrities and security advisor to a number of government agencies" a false sense of I could not be touched existed. So when it did occur it was hard for me to understand and all I could say was 'Why me' then I realised that I was not Mr. Invincible. Which is the key most important myth about this disease?  Men seem to treat Prostate Cancer as a taboo word and as such dismiss the dangers of the disease. I...

There are many reasons why I love manga. I'll give a few. For one, the art. Manga art is just something that has always fascinated me. From the different variations of pen shading, to creative screen tones, to beautiful portrayals of emotion, to intense action scenes. When I'm reading a manga, I want it to feel like I'm watching an anime. And so many I've read has done that for me. M:The thing about Manga that interests me is the fact that most of ...
