REDemption - postapocalyptic webcomic

REDemption is an upcoming epic "throw-in-everything-INCLUDING-the-kitchen-sink" post-apocalyptic webcomic. Behind the project is Steve Grogan from Troy, NY and artist Johnny Carruba fro Saline, MI. We have conducted an interview with Steve. How long have you been collaborating with your artist Johnny Carruba on this webcomic? I started working with Johnny in December 2015. By that point, the comic had been written for about 3 and a half years. (I finished it in April 2012.) We met when I advertised for an artist on Fiverr. Why did you choose the Zombie genre for your stories? I have always loved the zombie genre, ever since seeing Romero's original Dead trilogy (Night, Dawn and Day). In October 2010 I watched the premier episode of WALKING DEAD, and I sent out a post on Facebook that said, "I've always wanted to write a zombie story, but they seem very limited so I never knew how to write." Interview with mixed media artist Daniel Crosier

Daniel Crosier is a graduate of RMCAD 2000, in Denver, CO with an BFA in sculpture. He is a mixed media artist, and began a neo-kabuki performance group called OFM: OdAm fEI mUd in 2003. Crosier came on the comic book scene in 2006 writing and illustrating Sons of Soil, The Exquisite Vanishteer, Distortions Unlimited, Vincent Price Presents, as well as illustrating Bartholomew of the Scissors & Caustic Soda. Crosier partnered with The Enigma and Serana Rose for Show Devils comic book series, with several illustrators including. He has directed short films since 2005, and currently developing a documentary film on amusement parks, after Isolation Man, a mockumentary about a superhero who accidentally vanishes the western hemisphere. Daniel is also one of the organizers of Dink Denver Independent Comic and Art Expo . Interview with illustrator Wilbert van der Steen

Wilbert van der Steen started as an illustrator and cartoonist in 1993 and worked for several Dutch and foreign publishers. Between 2000 and 2006 he made illustrative paintings and added short tales to them. He illustrated many children’s books, four of them were picture books he made in association with writer Tiny Fisscher. Wilbert also wrote a children’s novel, the illustrated adventure Pension Kat (B&B Cat).  In 2009 he set his first steps into the comic world. In 2013 his short comic Peter and the wolf, an adaptation of Prokoviev’s story, put him in the comic world’s spotlight and he came in touch with the Flemish prize-winning comic writer Marc Legendre.
