Inger Brown on her new Bobbling stories

Illustrator Inger Brown has released 2 new Bobbling stories in her children's book series. The first book " The Bobbling and the Dragon " is a sweat adventure where he has to save his new friend Woo the Whippet from the terrible dragon. The second story is ready for Christmas where The Bobbling moves into a longer adventure of a chapter book. He needs to help Rudolf the reindeer find Santa who is lost in the enchanted forest. The Bobbling has had a huge over hall with a new permanent character introduced and lively, fun illustrations. While you are creating your stories, especially "Bobbling stories", what are your key messages which you want to pass along to children? I try not to be too preachy in my picture books no one wants to be preached at especially at bedtime. SP Rutledge on his first children's book King Camilla

The Crazy Mind spoke with author SP Rutledge about KING CAMILLA , his first children's book released on July 11 on AmazonBook and the author’s website . King Camilla delivers a message of hope for all kids faced with obstacles to achieve their dreams. KING Camilla is the first book in a series of three. Here is what SP had to say. Why did you craft this character, "Princess Camilla"? I needed a passionate main character who knew what they wanted to be from a young age, and a Latina Princess was a perfect fit. Camilla knows what her dream is and goes after it wholeheartedly! I also took this as an opportunity to write for underrepresented characters. I can't name many Latina and brown Princesses. I was so lucky to see myself represented in so many different heroes while I was growing up. I think every child should have the same experience that I did. Burt Kempner is a children's book author from Philadelphia. This spring he is going to introduce the 4th and final book in a series about endangered species. We have conducted an interview with Burt about the new book of the series. (Illustrator: Cal Howard) What are your launch plans for Spring 2020? What can readers expect from this? I plan to release The Purple Wave in late April/early May 2020.
