Interview with rapper Flame Kizzle

Image
We have conducted an interview with rapper Flame Kizzle from Phoenix, Arizona. Where did you get your inspirations to create your newly released Single, Corrupt? My inspiration behind my Single Corrupt. Came from, how I felt when I found out who had won the Presidential Election for 2017. Why did you name it 'Corrupt'? What is your story? I named my song Corrupt because Donald Trump portrays he cares so much about America. In my opinion all reality everything he's doing or has planned is only to better himself financially. Donald Trump disrespected people with disabilities, he makes sexist comments toward women, he's banning transgender military recruits. My single Corrupt is also helping with Hurricane Harvey relief by purchasing independent music. I was in Willy Northpole "Back To Mexico" music video. So watching Willy get signed to Disturbing the Peace, motivated me to want to make my own music and create my own style. How di...

Drive, Discovery

Image
Ryan Hollatz is a 27 years old author from Phoenix, AZ. Ryan is a very imaginative person, easily getting lost in his own head with ideas. He has released his first book " Drive, Discovery " which is a sci-fi fantasy action adventure taking place in a technologically advanced world. What sort of imaginations do you have about the dialogue within your story? I picture devastating, emotional dialogue between my characters. Imagining crucial, powerful events and discovering how your characters would talk it out or problem solve around it is one of the most important things to me as a writer who primarily focuses on character development. To see a character start from point A and move all the way to point B, C, etc. is truly incredible. If I can’t personally believe that someone would act in a certain manner, I backtrack and go over it until it feels right. What kind of special powers are of an enhanced humanoid in your opinion? For me, an enhanced humanoid is a ...

Marsha ‘Yasmine’ Marie has been a writer, human rights activist, English department head, English instructor, American accent trainer, communication lab designer, voice-over talent, blogger, administrative assistant and mom. Born in Ohio, raised in Arizona, and then lived and taught in Asia. She has now returned to Arizona and lives with her children. BANGLES is her self-publishing debut. We have conducted an interview with her. Why did you decide to write 'Bangles' as a story of honesty and self-discovery? There are several reasons for writing my memoir, Bangles . First of all, I wanted to share my experience of escaping a marriage filled with intimidation and violence. I fled to escape my abuser; my children and I went to Pakistan to start a new life---ultimately becoming the subject of an international hunt. While there, I was able to learn a new language and a new culture. But twenty years later, my daughter was diagnosed with a disability; it was then that I m...
