X2X Electronic Divorce Record

Image
Mark MacMahon, live in North Yarmouth, Maine (USA). 4 time entrepreneur starting his 5th business an internet software company focused bringing technology to the separation-divorce process. We have conducted a short interview with Mark. Why did you choose to create a business dealing with separation-divorce process? Divorce is a tumultuous time for the immediate family, 1 house becomes 2, money gets tight, you don’t see your kids every day and work effectiveness decreases. As I went through my divorce I experienced all these factors plus the emotions of divorcing. I have 50-50 custody of our kids and even on the weeks where I don’t see them a decent percentage of my off weeks is kid centric. All these factors lead up to a chaotic life where you never feel caught up. Even simple events like determining if I have the kids on a certain day in 3 months was challenging. My original idea was to create a simple app to manage the children’s schedule that I could share with my ex...

From prison to successful online business

Image
Jeffrey V. is an alcoholic, drug addict, ex con from S. Arizona who over came all this including bankruptcy and divorce to become a Biker turned online Entrepreneur! We have conducted an interview with him. In the past 20 yrs. you have started from scratch 6 completely different businesses, yet you have just better than an 8th grade education? Where do you get your inspiration and idea’s from? Honestly I don’t know. It is a very unique gift to start a business without any plan at all. When I was 1st on parole from prison at 36 yrs. old I washed dishes in a bowling alley restaurant for $4 an hr. I bought a used lawn mower and weed eater yet had no truck. I pushed those up and down the street looking for work, until a used truck came my way. My landscaping co. was my very 1st success in my entire life and I sold that 3 yrs later for $60K. I bought a tattoo studio for $20K and I had no location for it and had never done a tattoo. That business did $250K gross my 4th yr i...

Interview with writer Lory La Selva Paduano

Image
Lory La Selva Paduano is a writer who adores Historical Fiction and Fantasy. From a severely troubled teen, to a wonderful writer, mother and wife today, this author has faced challenging pursuits and has risen above them gracefully. We have conducted a short interview with her. In your teenage days, how did you discover your talent in writing? It was kind of a surprise discovery, when I learned I loved the art of writing. As a child growing up over seas, I would draw famous cartoon characters such as the "smurfs" and lots of ''anime'' too, and... no tracing either, just from sheer observation only!. As I became older, in my teens, I loved music and it's lyrics, so I began to write songs and poems, till I realized these poems needed more, "why not make them into small stories, novellas''. Today I lost the will to draw but I gained so much more by finding my passion,- writing books. Which is your favourite genre of books to read?...

Interview with Jackson Novem

Image
We have conducted a short interview with the songwriter and singer  Jackson Novem . What inspires you to produce songs like 'Slaughterhouse' and "Tears of Gold"? Well, after my first album, Trans-Suburban Fantasy, I really wanted to focus on a new sound, something that mixed the genres of rock music,hip-hop, pop in a way that I had never heard before. I wanted to make something fresh, something unique. How do you describe the genre of the songs you've made so far? Well really right now I'm interested in mixing genres. I've always been inspired by rock music; my father used to play the classic rock radio station on long car drives. And I love hip-hop and the beats associated with it. Its very inspiring. What do you love most about songwriting? What I really love about songwriting is that I'm able to express how I'm feeling at a certain moment, and tell my story. Writing is really therapeutic for me in that way. Since when did...

Interview with Glenn Lyvers

Image
This time we tracked down Glenn Lyvers, a publisher—you know, the people who decide what books are published. We interviewed Glenn Lyvers, the masthead at Prolific Press , a publisher beloved by his writers and unknown to almost everyone else. That’s the way publishers roll—they hide in the shadows and wield most of the power over what you read today. Our brief interview was informative, though we’re already catching heat for not asking more questions. It seems people really have a lot to ask Glenn Lyvers, and others like him. ( photo: Jeff Tatay ) Ycrazymind: OK, Mr. Lyvers, what is a typical workday like? Start at the beginning and tell the readers what it’s like to be you every day. Glenn Lyvers: Every day I wake up before sunrise and realize I’m still plunging into a never-ending pit of hell. It’s the dream I had last night, and it’s real when I wake up. I went to sleep behind in my reading, and woke up more behind in my reading. Overnight, submissions came in—piled...
