Brian Motroni Introduces Hunter Law P.A.

Image
Hunter Law P.A is a law firm stationed in Tampa, Florida where countless personal-injury victims go to get legal help. I have over a decade of experience focusing on plaintiff personal injury cases. I take great pride in helping victims get a fair recovery when tragedy and injuries befall their lives. I always keep my client's goals and best interests in mind and look for solutions and resolutions that will best serve their individual needs. Through transparency, great communication, and hard work a lot of my previous clients have thanked me for fighting so hard for them when they thought that no one else would. How would you characterize the working environment at Hunter Law P.A? An accurate way to describe us is to say that we are a small family that always tries to compete internally. For example, David, our senior associate attorney for family law, and I often try to outdo one another. Whenever I win a case, I can expect that David has a victory of his own that...

Editor Meibei Liu shines light on disabilities in new film ‘Headshot’

Image
Meibei Liu knows she is a very emotional person, and as an editor, she sees that as one of her greatest assets. She laughs easily and she cries easily, and allows art to resonate with her. When editing, she uses her emotions as a weapon and a resource. She allows herself to feel close to the characters in the film, feeling their happiness and hopelessness. This enables her to capture their journey through her work. When she completes a project, she feels a sense of satisfaction unlike any other, as she has provided closure to characters that she allowed to become like friends. She never just simply puts the shots together, she cuts to each different shot for a reason. By making herself laugh and cry, she knows how to make the audience do the same. Whether a documentary, like Pumpkin and Fried Noodles , or a narrative film, such as The Ballerina, The Shoemaker, and His Apprentice , Liu knows how to captivate an audience. Most recently, Meibei edited Dear Mamá , a film that won...

EXPERIENCING THE NO-RETURN PATH TO DEATH VIA FILM: OBLIVION

Image
Breathing panicked at first, then slowing down to a more shallow depth; the cold is spreading throughout his body in spite of the warm temperature surrounding him. This was not what he thought it would feel like…not what it was supposed to be like. The grand gesture makes him more dependent on every fleeting tragic moment. There is no recourse left. Simultaneously he wishes to alter his decision and realizes that he cannot. The film Oblivion presents suicide in a very personal and disturbing way. But then again, the subject matter is itself very disturbing. Many have wondered what could drive someone to take their own life and how they felt as it slipped away from them; Oblivion attempts to give its audience a first person perspective of one man’s reasons and journey in ending his existence. Reduced to one statement, Oblivion is the internal monologue of a lost man making the wrong choice; giving up. Joshua E. Velazquez Torres appears as the main character, a man who ha...

WEAVING AN ARTISTIC SENSIBILITY INTO PUBLIC PLACES

Image
Creativity, a unique voice, and environmental awareness are in diametric opposition to the idea of the furnishings and the appearance of commercial public and corporate environments. This idea has been profoundly proven to be in error thanks to EcoChic designer/founder/CEO Megan Risdon. EcoChic’s successful relationship with American e-commerce company Wayfair has established a template of visually striking looks from resourced materials which can be marketed and distributed to consumers who are not solely focused on creating a home environment. EcoChic has been immensely popular to individual consumers but the commercial clientele at Wayfair has found Risdon’s designs particularly valuable in giving them the ability to communicate a strong signature while manifesting vibrance. Beauty and practicality don’t always go hand in hand. Megan’s signature style is her use of exciting colors with the organic feel of wood. Wayfair’s commercial customers require durability and desire p...
