Kyle Young-Moncure has been passionate about Speaking, Training and Mentoring others for as long as she can remember. Born in Kansas City, Mo. and currently based in Dallas, Texas, she is the Founding CEO of The Free Your Mind Forum, Inc. A 501(c)(3) Corporation. Kyle serves as a Professional Speaker, Trainer & Coach. Additionally, she speaks about a multitude of topics, including but not limited to diversity & inclusion, social healing and personal empowerment. She is the proud Founder & CEO of The Free Your Mind Forum, Inc., an empowering non-profit organization dedicated to diversity and inclusion & unconscious bias training in communities nationwide. We have conducted an interview with her.



When did you become passionate about Speaking, Training and Mentoring?

I've been passionate about Training and Mentoring for about 15 years. I got really serious in 2012 after deciding to relaunch my nonprofit organization The FYM Forum.

Which are three of your most favorite topics to speak on?

My Calling is to promote Diversity & Inclusion. I also love talking about Personal Empowerment & helping others find their voice & live their dreams.


What is your specialty and certification?

I hold credentials as a facilitator in Diversity & Inclusion and Cultural Competence Certification from Humanext and Classroom Management Certification from the Center for Teacher Effectiveness. I'm also trained in Employee Engagement, Emotional Intelligence and Unconscious Bias.


When was the founding of ''The Free Your Mind Forum, Inc"? What are your goals/mission?

Free Your Mind was born in Kansas City, Mo. in 2005. We revamped in 2012 with a focus on Diversity. We are now based in Dallas, Texas. Our Mission: Free Your Mind provides community centered diversity and inclusion education, culturally infused entertainment and open forum networking events. Our goal is to promote race-based dialogue, human understanding, collaboration and social healing.

What kind of activities do you organize for encouraging race-based dialogue, understanding, and cultural collaboration?

Free Your Mind Forum combines Arts & Entertainment, Assisted Networking, Education and Audience Participation that promotes Open Dialogue, Mutual Respect, Collaboration & Cultural Competency.

We have confirmed 6 Cities for 2017 (Phase I) of the “It’s Time to Talk Tour.” The goal of this series will bring diversity education, cultural competence training and entertainment to individuals, campuses, community groups & corporations.
