We introduce you Steve aka The R.O.A.R. Musician/Producer/DJ - He writes and produces music for various other acts including, The Fire and Reason, Bella Saona, and others. We have conducted a short interview with him:

Why did you and your group named yourselves "The Fire and Reason"?

The name came from a lyric in one of the first songs I wrote for the project. The line was "I am The Fire and The Reason", and when Bella and I were thinking of names for the group I brought that up, and it stuck. Another option was going to be the Amazon, since it is a river that goes through both of our countries in South America, Ecuador and Brazil.

Your new and latest smash up video sounds really nice, what is its combination consists of?

Last summer I started a series of sMASH UPs where I was combining 2 completely different artists, and combining their songs to come up with a new HYBRID of sorts. "Fall For Your Hearing Damage" combine's the Drake/Jaime Foxx song "Fall For Your Type", and Thom Yorke from Radiohead's song "Hearing Damage" All the parts and vocals have been re-recorded, and re-sung by myself.

Where are the other places where your music has been featured?

The R.O.A.R. project has been featured on EARMILK.COM, NME.COM, and some other cool indie blogs. The Fire and Reason has been featured on MTV.COM, VH1.COM, DISCOBELLE.NET, LOGO.TV, and a bunch more websites.

What rewards and achievements have you made? And what kind of music would you like to make in the near future?

The Fire and Reason won, LOGO TV's NEW NOW NEXT AWARD for BRINK of FAME MUSIC artist, beating out LMFAO, LYKKIE LI, MORNING WOOD, and others. Our song "DO IT AGAIN" has been featured on various MTV, and VH1 shows, such as The City, The T.O. Show, and was the theme show for MTV's HOUSE OF JAZMIN. I have made all types of ELECTRO-ROCK and DANCE POP music, and am very into Moombahton and Trap Musick at the moment, which will reflect in my forth coming E.P.

If you can have it your way, which 2 artists or musicians would you like to work with in a music video? Why did you choose them?

If I could work with 2 artist/musicians on a music video or music project, it would probably be Chino Moreno from Deftones, and or BJORK. I have been HUGE fans of both for many years, and think they both have unique ways of writing songs, and vocal deliveries. I like to make EPIC UNIQUE sounds and landscaped and could see a collaboration with either one of those artists as ground breaking and legendary.
