Companies hire people, not paper - interview with Bernard Bonomo

Image
Bonomotion has created a new solution to help individuals market and distinguish themselves. Especially college graduates who often have little experience to show, they can now have a " Mini-Movie " produced which enables them to showcase their passion, personality and potential they can offer employers. We interviewed Bernard Bonomo, CEO of the video production company in Miami, FL about  Bonomotion . The Ultimate Video Resume by your video production company is an interesting niche that sets you apart from the others. How do you bring out the most from college graduates who often have little experience to show? We developed Mini-Movies with the millennial generation in mind (18-30 year olds), because this platform now gives individuals who are long on enthusiasm but short on experience --a way to showcase all the wonderful things that make them unique and valuable to a company. We believe that there are many other meaningful 'experiences,' beyond just 'w...

Choice Within - interview

Image
Brian is a trained chef, author and mentor. His book called  "In The Weeds" is coming out soon. We asked him bout his works: How did you become a chef and author? What inspires you to be a mentor? Since I was very young, I have always enjoyed cooking. It has been a passion of mine since I can remember. As I grew older I started to get to the core of what it was about cooking that I enjoyed most. As it turns out, my real passion is to create and develop. This has lead me into the mentor roll. I love to watch people grow into themselves. Seeing people develop into what God has intended them to become is the most amazing experience ever. Lately, I have been putting my life journey on paper through my blog choicewithin.com and my new book coming out in the fall of 2011 “In The Weeds” which you will be able to find at amazon.com. Which are the techniques or methodology you use to mentor others? When mentoring someone, my goal is to let them see for their selves t...

Maya Noise - interview with the author John Dalton

Image
John Dalton has released his second book Maya Noise . We asked him about his new book: Where did you draw your inspirations of your second book - ' Maya Noise '? Inspiration? It was more to do with sleep. I wasn't getting much at the beginning of 2010. Instead I was being kept awake by insights I'd had decades before. It's not like they were new and I just-had-to-write-them-down. It's not like I thought humanity needed to hear my truth or any rubbish like that. Humanity was doing just fine as far as I could see and anyway humanity was just an idea. I'd never met a humanity. I just met people, usually one at a time. I didn't think I knew what was right for them and I didn't think anyone else did either, the only person who knows what's right for you, is you, so there was even less point to writing. It had been different with my first book, Why Do We Get Sick? Why Do We Get Better? , that had developed from hundreds of conversations I...

Interview with Ondrej Dyrka

We asked Ondrej Dyrka (Czech Republic) about his website:  http://mostpopularbooks.org What kind of criteria do you use when choosing a book to be featured on your site ? First of all, the book has been already reviewed on the site and my readers had the chance to make their opinion about it. Second, I try to find out the preferences of my visitors, simply because I'm there for them, not the other way around. Third, a part of my judgement is also made up from general acknowledgment of the book - controversy doesn't matter, but books despised from the first to the last page do not have place in the Featured category. What remains is my personal opinion - I'm more likely to feature a book I personally liked, but I know my taste for books may differ from others' and rest assured good books will find their place there, even if I didn't enjoy them. How regularly or often do you add a new book feature? The original idea was to change the book once per we...

Sailing Andiamo - You won't know, if you don't go!

Image
Sailing trips has never been more fun than on ' Andiamo '. Just like its slogan, "You won't know, if you don't go!" Sailing in San Blas is like sailing through the paradise. It is so beautifully blue and the island is one of the best spots in Panama. Sailing Andiamo is more than an experience. The crew and the captain of Andiamo just makes the entire sailing trip so lovely. You need a very responsible and detailed person to make the pre and post trip arrangments. Fortunately we met Mitzy who takes good care of all the necessary details from the transportation to the river to every little details related to children. Next I want to highlight other than the crew is the best Captain. Captain Phil is just marvellous. He could teach us so much about sailing based on his experiences and adventures around the world. Great stories and amazing activities onboard, he is an excellent cook too. He is like an ideal someone who really cares for the boat just...

Metaphors of movement

Andrew T. Austin, therapist, author of a book The Rainbow Machine . He worked formerly as a registered nurse in the field of neurosurgery and neurology. Recently he is based in the south of England and travels a lot overseas to give trainings. We have conducted a short interview with him: What are some of your good experiences in this field in UK, Poland and India? Are they any different culturally? Poland and India are two of my favourite places to work outside of the UK. The similarities and contrasts are always interesting to me. As a trainer who teaches soft skills in the areas of personal development and psychotherapy, one thing that stands out the most is that people hurt the same way, no matter what their cultural background, and other people's desire to help is equally strong, again no matter the cultural background. Poland and India have certain vibrancy about them. Poland now has a adult generation that has grown up in the post-Soviet era, and the econ...

Mary Margaret Park

Image
Mary Margaret Park, an author and poet (who as well serves as a musician and producer). She is having great reactions to her recently released short story titled, “Rising” (a part of the [Devil’z Hide] writings) and is too having success with her song titled “Robot-Mind Robot-Eye”, which has aired for two consecutive weeks at [Off the Chart] Radio UK, approaching a third week (with the song now being added to the Galaxy 24/7 rotations). Q: What inspires you and how did you become an author and song writer as well? A: When I catch a glimpse of something beautiful, like a crimson sky, when the sun is setting, it inspires me. I’m awed by its beauty, but also humbled by the complexity of what I’m viewing; the raw science behind it all. I’m also inspired by the human condition. Some people overcome great adversity, all the while existing with kindness, while others become bitter and cruel, because they didn’t win an Emmy or rece...
